The unique dining and venue experience from Australia’s premier sports bar continues to grow in the West, with Sporting Globe Bar & Grill announcing a new venue at Floreat Forum. It will be The Sporting Globe’s fourth mega-sports bar and restaurant in Western Australia, with an anticipated August 2023 opening.

Founded in 2010, The Sporting Globe is a brand that goes the whole nine yards in perfecting the art of celebrating sport; a place where fans, fanatics, friends and families can gather and celebrate their passion. It’s more than a sports bar, offering an extensive selection of food and drinks, from Signature Wings, Tasty Burgers, Slow Cooked Ribs and Steaks from the grill.

Testament to the sporting credentials of the new venue, a local sporting star will also be part of the opening, with former Australian hockey player and Olympian Tim Deavin involved as a franchisee.

Prominently located at the Floreat Forum, the venue will cater to 400+ patrons and feature an expansive open-air beer garden with a big screen, restaurant, TAB facilities, and over 50 high-definition screens, including touch screen booth TVs®, a central bar with stadium-style big screens, all offering a wide selection of sports vision from around the globe.

The Sporting Globe welcomes over 3+ million customers per year with venues across the nation and is well-known for its commitment to supporting the local community. This includes donating over $75,000 annually across 35 West Australian grass roots clubs. In 2021 The Sporting Globe further cemented its roots in the community by becoming the Official Venue Partner of the Perth Wildcats.

The Floreat Forum venue will not only provide residents with an exciting viewing and dining experience, it will benefit the local community, with more than 50 new jobs created.

James Sinclair Signature Hospitality Group CEO, said: “We saw a great opportunity for the growth of our Bar & Grill concept in WA with a fantastic local destination and heart of the community at the Floreat Forum. Over two and a half million dollars will be invested in this state-of-the-art bespoke sports bar fitout showcasing the latest technology in audio and visual.”

“We look forward to opening the doors of The Sporting Globe Floreat and invite everyone to jump off the side-line and join the winners circle later this year for a unique venue and dining experience.”

The Sporting Globe once again is partnering with WA locals including former Australian Hockey player and Olympian Tim Deavin in conjunction with business partner Phil Deavin, they are keen to hit another goal off the back of their success with the Rockingham & Mandurah Forum venues making this their third under the brand.

Tim Deavin Franchisee - “We saw a gap in the market North of the river in Floreat for an inclusive, family-friendly sporting venue that would appeal to a broad demographic of customers and become the go-to meeting place to watch, listen, eat, drink, and be entertained.”

“The Sporting Globe Floreat will provide over 50 jobs in the community, and we expect to be able to satisfy the community’s appetite for sporting functions and events,” Tim said.
